# Vigilan AI

### What is Vigilan AI?

Vigilan AI is a Chrome extension that brings risk analysis and hedge discovery into the financial websites you use.

It helps connect the context of a supported page with relevant market information, so you can evaluate a risk while considering or managing a position. The extension's purpose is to help you make a more informed decision about that exposure.

### How it works

The product experience follows four stages:

An alert can be relevant to the market on your screen without knowing your exact holdings. More specific analysis depends on the information available and the permissions you have granted.

### Risk analysis and possible responses

Different positions call for different questions:

The appropriate response may be to examine a hedge, reduce exposure, change the structure of a position, or keep monitoring it. A risk alert does not mean that buying a contract is always the best response.

### Getting started

1. Visit [Vigilan AI](https://vigilan.ai/) and follow its official Chrome Web Store link.
2. Review the listing and requested permissions, then add the extension to Chrome.
3. Open a supported financial page and enable the relevant site access.
4. Review any available risk analysis, including the asset, venue, and observation period it refers to.
5. If a potential hedge is presented, open its details and evaluate the contract before deciding whether to trade.

### Supported platforms and expansion

The website currently lists the following platform coverage. Support can depend on the installed extension version, product page, and feature. A listed platform does not imply support for every product or account type on that platform.

### Permissions and privacy

Basic page recognition can use a supported page's URL and public market data. It does not inherently require your complete portfolio or transaction history. Deeper page analysis requests permission before accessing additional context, as described in the [official extension listing](https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/vigilan-ai-%E2%80%94-your-persona/lghppholnedbgnlkfpbgmgplegecdjck).

Review the extension's permissions and applicable privacy policy to understand its data handling. You can manage site access through Chrome's extension settings. Restricting access can limit the analysis available on a page.

### Understanding the limits

An alert is an analytical signal. It is not a market resolution, a guarantee that an event will occur, or confirmation that a particular hedge will pay.

Likewise, the absence of an alert is not confirmation that a position is safe. Data may be delayed, context may be incomplete, and unsupported pages may not produce useful analysis.

Vigilan AI's discovery workflow does not itself submit a hedge trade. Review and authorize any transaction through the relevant product. The examples displayed on the website illustrate the intended experience; their balances, returns, prices, and payout amounts are not live quotes.
